With the promise of snow, and the cold days and nights that are upon us, we thought the perfect DIY was our Cone Shaped Bags (B08C5CSC & B08C7CSC) filled with our delicious Hot Cinnamon Milk. We have used the cone shaped bags for many things, but they are a very nice packaging option for presenting gifts from the kitchen such as the dry ingredients for drink mixes, dip mixes and soup mixes. Just fill and tie off with a pretty closure.
If you are using a decorative ribbon, use a 4” twist tie to tie off the top. Wrap the ends around the twist tie. Cover with your decorative ribbon or bow.
If you will just be using a twist tie alone, choose a 6” twist tie. Twist and curl the long ends around a pencil or knitting needle for a cute spring like effect.
Materials needed:
1 – 17” Clear cone shaped bag (B08 C7CSC)
1 – 12” Clear Cone shaped bag (B08 C5CSC)
1 – Gold Pre-Tied Sheer Bow (B08 24427)
1 – Round 1-7/8” gold “A Gift For You” label (B09 AD3319)
Cinnamon Milk Mix (see recipe below)
Instructions:
Place the label on the 17” Cone Shaped Bag about 4” from the bottom point of the bag. Pour the Cinnamon Milk Mix into the 12” cone shaped bag. Slip the 12” bag inside the 17” bag. Slip the note explaining the serving directions between the 2 bags (we have put it in the back of our gift package). If you are feeling very creative make a great custom hang-tag and attach it when you add the bow. We took the easy road and typed up a simple serving instruction note on the computer, cut it to size and slipped it in.
Gather the two bags together just above the Cinnamon Milk Mix and secure tightly with the twist tie attached to the Pre-Tied Sheer Bow. We leave a generous plume of cello above our gather, but you can trim the top down if you like.
